To me, Costa Rica is equated with surfing, great food, and an environment, at least in Santa Teresa, which interestingly enough reminded me of the lushly lined beaches of southern Goa. Tropics vs Tropics, I know.
The three weeks I spent in Costa Rica with the family were chock full of sunshine, surfing, and serenity. I had the extreme privilege of surfing in many places around the planet. With its laid-back scene and friendly locals (expats and Costa Ricans alike), Santa Teresa instantly became one of my favorites and I hope to return.
