Here are a few of my favorite images from Skåne County in Sweden’s deep south.
I’ve had Malmö and Skåne as my basecamp since circa 1998. At the time, I knew nothing about this extraordinarily diverse region of Sweden. Since then, I’ve discovered and documented many of Skåne’s most beautiful places, including my favorite village Vejbystrand, but also places like Knäbäckshusen, Kåseberga, Kivik, and several other destinations in the county’s interior.
Skåne is Sweden’s tenth largest county and covers 11,035 km². The largest part, 48 percent, consists of agricultural land.
